Getting started guide
How to play Cartoria step by step
Choose your Starter Pack, open your 5 boosters, prepare your active deck, and start battling to earn crystals and climb the rankings.
The idea in 30 seconds
In Cartoria, you get cards from boosters, improve your collection, build an active deck, and launch automatic battles to progress.
The steps to start well
Step 01
Create your account and choose your Starter Pack
After signing up, choose an Earth, Air, or Water Starter Pack. You immediately receive a complete deck of 10 equipped fighters, 5 standard boosters, and 2,000 crystals.
Goal: enter the game with a first reserve of cards.
Why it matters
Without an account, you cannot claim your welcome boosters, save your progress, or access the core game loop.
What you will understand
This step shows how Cartoria brings a new player into the game quickly with starter rewards and immediate access to their player space.
Step 02
Open your boosters
Boosters contain your first cards. Until you open them, you cannot really start building your strategy.
Goal: turn starter boosters into real usable cards.
Why it matters
The cards you need to play are inside your boosters. Leaving them unopened delays your collection, your deck, and your first battles.
What you will understand
You understand that boosters are not cosmetic extras: they are the direct source of your first fighters and accessories.
Step 03
Discover your collection
You get fighters and accessories of different rarities. Each card can level up and become stronger.
Goal: understand card types, rarities, and levels.
Why it matters
The sooner you understand what you own, the faster you can identify which cards to keep, improve, equip, and use in your future decks.
What you will understand
You start spotting the difference between fighters and accessories, the role of rarities, and how to read a card correctly.
Step 04
Build an active deck
An active deck is required both to battle and to be attacked. The deck is built line by line with fighters and their compatible accessories.
Goal: have a valid active deck ready for PvP.
Why it matters
The active deck is the real gateway to competitive play. Without it, you stay outside battles, rankings, and a large part of progression.
What you will understand
You discover that Cartoria is mostly won in preparation: line choices, fighter coherence, compatible accessories, and deck order.
Step 05
Launch battles
Battles are automatic. Your role is to prepare the best deck possible, then watch the result and the replay.
Goal: earn fame and measure the quality of your deck.
Why it matters
Battles are the real test of your deckbuilding. They make you gain or lose fame and quickly reveal the strengths and weaknesses of your setup.
What you will understand
You understand that Cartoria is not a reflex game during the match: the difference is made before the fight, through deck quality and synergy.
Step 06
Complete daily quests
Daily quests reward useful actions in the game and grant crystals to accelerate your progress.
Goal: collect crystals every day by playing smart.
Why it matters
Daily quests help you progress faster without mandatory spending. They also give structure to short play sessions and reward useful actions.
What you will understand
You see how a short session can still generate concrete gains: open, fuse, battle, watch a replay, and collect crystals.

Step 07
Fuse your cards
When you own enough free copies of the same card, you can fuse them to create a higher-level version.
Goal: strengthen your best cards without breaking your active deck.
Step 08
Climb the rankings
Your fame determines your position. The best players receive rewards every month according to their ranking.
Goal: turn your decks into competitive progress.
Step 09
Buy boosters
The shop lets you buy boosters with crystals and top up crystals with real money to expand your collection.
Goal: speed up the acquisition of new cards.
Step 10
Use the market
The market lets you buy and sell card lots between players to complete your collection more precisely.
Goal: target the cards you miss or resell some stacks.
